Hey, look what came to Seattle!

And it's about damn time.

I've been dying to go to Kohl's since Janet first told me about their awesome shoe department and Carrisa talked up their housewares. Patiently I waited for it's arrival.

And now, it's open. And I'm happy.

Babboo and I raced over there this week to cash in on their sales. I'll admit that I was much happier about our prospects then my Sweet Babboo.

Frankly, he could have cared less. Which is too bad, since their toddler clothes were 60% off. I was able to score more shirts to adorn with iron-ons. (Stop me. Now. Before it's too late.)

The parking lot was empty. (The only cars that were there are the ones you see it that picture). Inside of the store was d.e.a.d! I kid you not. Apparently the word has not gotten out to the rest of Seattle like it has to me.

Too bad Babboo has a mild meltdown, due to lack of a cart to push him around in, and we couldn't stay as long as I would have wanted. Because of said meltdown I only got to try on one shirt. Which, of course, I bought. It was deep purple and frilly and less then $20.00.

Based on the shirt purchase alone, I'd say my first trip to Kohl's was a huge success.

Now if only we would get an H&M out here*. Because dude, I need me some H&M.

(Rumor has it that H&M is coming to Seattle. Too bad it won't be downtown where I live.)

You have totally inspired me to race down there and check out stuff for my up coming trip to vegas! I may be prego, but I can at least look cute!

Hallelujah! If it was not for Kohl's, I would not have any clothes. And that's because their Kohl's card (of which I am a gold member) permits revolving credit, so that you only have to pay 1/3rd of your balance each month, for 0 interest. Holy crap. I love it. My mom can't take advantage of this for some reason (she has a Kohl's card but the state of FL won't let them do the revolving credit) so she always uses my card and pays me the cash.

Approximately 90% of my work wardrobe is from Kohl's. It certainly doesn't hurt that we have one within walking distance.

We joke weekly that, "Hey! Kohl's is having a sale!" Because really? They always are. Don't ever buy anything there that is full price. It will be on sale tomorrow.

Wow...did not even know about the greatness of Kohls! Where have I been? I am going to have to check this out.

I'll probably get stoned for this, but I'm not a fan of Kohl's. In fact, I'm not big on department store clothes in general. They never seem to fit right!

I love Kohl's for shoes...housewares...and clothes for my husband. Clothes for myself often require some major searches...but I have managed to score a cute item or two in recent months.

Frema, I'm right there with you. Maybe it's the never convenient locations in my life or a bad trip (to the store, that is), but I haven't "seen the light" with Kohl's. Evidently, I need a Kohl's shopping buddy for my next trip there; maybe I'm looking in the wrong sections!

Here's to happy shopping!

You guys never had a Kohl's!? I just bought a shirt there a few weeks ago for $5! And it's super cute! Kohl's has some pretty cute stuff, but I only buy it when it's on sale.

Shaun's mom is obsessed with Kohl's. She is going there probably every other day, lol!
