Does the fact that they cost less then $15 make them cuter?

I need some new shoes. Heck, don't we all always need want new shoes?? I had been dreaming of new shoes for a few weeks and these posts only made my desires stronger.

Yesterday I e-mailed Janet and asked for some shoe suggestions. I told her what I was looking for; summery, cute, non-flats, and of course, not über expensive. Janet was excited to help and I was even more excited when she sent me all sorts of suggestions. I got an idea of what I was looking for.

On the way to pick up Babboo from school everyday, I pass a Ross store. I never go in. The police officer standing in the doorway reminds me that it isn't the nicest place to shop in downtown Seattle. But yesterday afternoon I was all geared up. I needed to look at shoes. Cheap-ish shoes, and actually try them on. After I picked up Babboo, we made a b-line for Ross and headed directly to their basement shoe department.

You know how discount store's shoe departments always look like a war zone, shoes in the wrong spots, shoes all over the floor, missing pairs? Yeah, it wasn't like this yesterday. All the shoes were in their correct locations and hooked together. And there were tons of cute shoes. Tons. They had summer shoes and winter shoes. Black work shoes and colorful summer shoes. They had it all.

The best part was that I found two pairs that I knew I had to own.

TWO!

Of course I bought both of them and the total was under $30.00.

Want to see what I got? Of course you do. And, as always, I'm happy to share pictures of my shoes.

I have a deep love for Aerosoles. I don't care what anybody says, they are comfy and cute. And last night, they were cheap. (I got these sweet little green suede kitten heels for under $15.00.) I am wearing them today and they are so comfy. I feel like I have my slippers on.

Of course I had to buy a pair of red shoes, since I love my other pair so much. These shoes will be perfect for summer. And get this, they are also very comfortable. The King didn't like them as much as I did. But seriously, what does he know about fashion? (He actually knows a lot. But let's pretend he doesn't.) I also got these bad boys for under $15.00. Hello, good deals. Welcome to my life. I hope you stay a while.

Of course Babboo wanted to be in all the pictures. Eventually I had to let him have his way.

Love love love them! Particularly love the red ones - so cute! And such a closet staple... can something bright red be a "staple"... I think so!

WHOA I am so impressed!!! I especially love the red ones, but you knew I would say that. They are the perfect summer shoe. And the green ones are a great neutral-but-still-a-color, and comfy too? Yay!

LOVE the shoes! And you can't beat a deal like that, you just can't.

Don't worry about the King not liking the red shoes. Boys just don't understand that stuff. I showed my husband a picture of the most adorable purse ever online yesterday and he just said it was "weird-looking." So I did the mature thing and said "YOU'RE weird looking!"

Okay, maybe I didn't say that. But the moral of the story is that guys just don't understand cute shoes and purses.

I love them both! I am not a big shoe person (bags are a different story, see: Coach ate my bank account), so I never buy shoes for myself... but I love looking at other people's for some reason. And under $30 for both is a STEAL.

I love Aerosoles, too. I'm not afraid to admit it.

And how odd that I happened upon a Ross store yesterday myself and found a pair of turquoise shoes for cheap! CHEAP!!!

I love bargains, but who doesn't!

Cute shoes! Okay...I did it...I had to click on the Aerosoles link. Being a size 12 shoe I just had to see if they had anything. OMG! I just found my perfect summer shoe and I am buying them in every color. Good-bye bonus...hello perfect sandals (see the Big Shot shoe). Have a wonderful day and fun with your new shoes!
